Kindergarten Bound

Zackary is now old enough to go to Kindergarten.  He is so excited.  He has his new school clothes/shoes/supplies.  He wants to wear his new shoes so bad, it is hard for him to have to wait.  

Griggs Baby #3

Yes, you read the heading right.  We are expecting baby #3.  The baby is expected to make its appearance Feb 22, 2013.  It was a shock to us, we were not expecting it or planning it.  As the time marches on we are getting more and more excited.  Zackary really really wants a baby brother.  MaKenzie is to little to care or know what is going on.  As for Keith and I, we don't care the sex of the baby, we just want a healthy baby.

Most of this pregnancy I have had really bad headaches.  It makes it hard to function, but I manage. 
I have not gained to much weight at this point, only maintained.  I am hovering at about 173.  I am worried about my B/P.  It runs a little higher than it did with my other 2 kids.

I plan to keep this blog going to keep people informed of our progress and to also document my experience.   

Missing in Action

WOW!  It has been a while since I have posted anything.  Lets just say a lot has been going on in our life, but we are still here and living. 

Rollin on Over!

My baby girl is getting so big.
Yesterday she rolled over for the first time (4 1/2 months old) !
She has been trying to get it figured out
for several weeks now.
Zackary was laying on the floor next to her and
she wanted to get him and the next thing we
knew, over she went.
We clapped and shouted, "Good job MaKenzie, you did it"

Zackary just loves to hold his sister.
MaKenzie tolerates it pretty well!
The other day, MaKenzie licked Zackary's face while he was holding her, he didn't like that so much. He wiped he face and said, "Mom, she licked me. MaKenzie don't do that anymore."

2 Months!

WOW! 2 Months already??? MaKenzie is such a great addition to our family.
We all love her very much.
MaKenzie sleeps GREAT! Like 8 hrs a night. I can't complain about that!

Santa Clause is coming to town

Keith had his company party this last week and evey year

Santa comes to visit and gives the kids presents.

Zackary was very excited to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what

he wanted for Christmas! MaKenzie decided to stay asleep. :)

Zackary got a toy guitar, which he loves, and MaKenzie got a play mat.

Christmas Lights Gone Wild

This is Zackary's favorite thing to watch. This song came on the raido this morning and he said, "Mom this song goes with the Christmas Lights"

ZOO part 1

One of the things we wanted to make sure we
did while in Oregon, was take Zackary to the Zoo.
He was so excited to go see the animals. That was the
only thing he thought we were going to Oregon for, silly
kid.

Here is Zackary with his favorite animal.
He watches "Happy Feet" all the time!

It was fun to watch the penguins eat their food (little fish)
but holy cow it stunk so bad. GROSS!

In April we took a family vacation and went to Oregon to
visit Keith's side of the family. We got in late(way past bed time) the first day so we didn't
do anything but go to bed. The next morning
Zackary wanted to go outside and play. Grandpa Griggs decided
to get the lawn tractor and trailer out and give
Zackary a ride. Zackary thought this was great. Here is Zackary
waiting for Grandpa.

I decided that I needed a ride as well.
Zackary kept saying, "Go faster Grandpa"
I think Grandpa enjoyed himself as well.

Baby Girl!

YES! We are pregnant.
We are expecting a baby girl
November 6, 2010!
We are super excited.

Coasting!

We had a lot of fun. We were wishing we had a snowmobile to get us
back up the hill. The sure is a long hard walk.

SUNSHINE!

The sunshine has been so wonderful. Zackary has enjoyed being able to play outside without getting too cold. He loves to take his loader out with him and push the snow.

Happy 25th!!!!

So I turned 25 on the 3rd. Wow, time flies!
My birthday fell on a Sunday so we didn't
do much, but I did get to take a 4 hr. nap, it was great!
The next day my visiting teachers made me breakfast, it was delicious!
Later my family took me out for dinner and then we went
to the movie, "Blind Side". If you haven't seen it, you should!
Thanks to all who wished me a Happy Birthday and made it fun!

"I do it"

After we took the Christmas down and put it outside
it made a huge mess. We had pine needles all over the place.
Zackary is getting to the point where he likes to help, ALOT, and
has to do things all by himself. So we gave him the vacuum and let
him have at it!

Big Boy Bed

So part of Zackary's Christmas was a Big Boy Bed (twin).
He got Cars and Handy Manny Sheets and a Cars comforter!
When we showed him is new bed he asked us where his crib went, we told him
it went bye bye because he is a big boy now!
This was his first night of sleeping in his bed.
What a bed hog!

Christmas Day!

Oh we had a wonderful Christmas! It was neat to see that Zackary was getting the hang of "Santa Clause". One night coming home from Afton, Zackary said, "Mom, Santa Clause over there?" (pointing out the window to anywhere) "No, he is at the North Pole making toys to bring to kids on Christmas Eve." He replied, "Mine too?" "YES." After my response to that he just giggled.
Zackary got a play mat that has roads and houses on it so he can push his cars and trucks around on it, a Handy Manny action figure complete with the tools and a tool box (so cute), Handy Manny & Cars sheets for his new big boy bed (more to come later on that), a Cat bulldozer, pj's, and church clothes! He got a pillow that looks like a penguin from his Grandma Griggs and boy does he love it. Thanks Grandma Griggs!!! I got a Wii and I was so excited that I felt like a little kid, I have been wanting a Wii for ever and I kept getting told that we didn't need one and that they were too expensive. Well now I know why I was told that. Thanks Honey. Sorry I don't have any pictures of Keith, don't know how that happened. Keith got a leather jacket, a robe, and a griddle so that he can cook lots of pancakes at once.

Warning: Construction Zone!

This year we decided we would make a gingerbread house. We had Grandma & Grandpa Jackson and Great Grandma Jackson over to help/watch. Zackary loved it, he wanted to do it his self and he only ate like 5 pieces of candy. It was fun to see him concentrate on putting the candies in the right spot.

O Christmas Tree!

This year I decided that Zackary was big enough to put the angel on top of the tree. I gave him the angel and lifted him up but he kept saying, "Mom you do it." I was kind of excited that he said that because I have always put the angel on the tree since I was little and I was kind of sad to let someone else do it.
